Catoctin Residence
A new 2,500 SF residence located in Smithsburg, Maryland, the Catoctin House is sited amidst peach orchards on the side of a mountain overlooking the Hagerstown Valley. The design strategy employed the use of common farm building archetypes and materials prevalent in the area, strung together in series to fit the long narrow site. Completion: 1997
