Arts & Crafts Revival
This Arts & Crafts-style house was constructed in 1912, one of the oldest structures on a large parcel in the Town of Chevy Chase, Maryland. Removal of the metal siding that completely sheathed the building, added in the 1950s, revealed well-preserved and patterned cedar shingles, which were restored and matched in the 2-story addition. The interior is a blend of restored rooms in the original house and more contemporary spaces in the large addition.
