Georgetown Row Houses
Situated at an oblique intersection of two busy streets in Washington, DC, this pair of single family row houses is shoe-horned into a steeply sloping site that had remained undeveloped and overgrown in an otherwise densely developed residential neighborhood. The design solution comprises a brick basement/garage story - a contextual link to existing brick buildings on either side - and two stories above, clad in white-painted stucco and copper, with natural wood and green slate tile accents. Completion: 2002
